Terms and Conditions

Rates/Minimum Hire Periods:
* Rates are per day in NZ$ and include unlimited kilometres & GST (New Zealand Government Tax)
* The minimum hire period is seven days

Drivers/Licences
All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a full and current New Zealand driver's licence, or an International Driving Licence, or a licence recognised by New Zealand from the country of origin and must be in English.

Depot/Pickup Points:
Depots: Auckland, Hamilton, Christchurch
One way Motorhome hires available to/from Hamilton, Auckland & Christchurch at no extra charge.
Other locations by arrangement and will incur a charge.

TRANSFERS/PICK UP
Clients can be picked up and dropped off at Auckland Airport at no charge.

Insurance
STANDARD INSURANCE:
Standard insurance is an extra NZ$15 per day on top of the daily hire rate. The hirer is liable for the first NZ$1200 for any damage caused in any one accident. The bond paid at the commencement of the hire is to cover this.

Bond Reduction Insurance
Bond Reduction Insurance is an optional extra and can reduced. The cost of this bond is dependent on the term of hire. Please enquire for details and a quotation.

Bond
All hirers must pay a bond at the commencement of hire. This bond is fully refundable if the vehicle has not been involved in an accident and is returned in a reasonably clean and undamaged condition. The bond is NZ$1200 or if under 25 years NZ$1500. The bond may be taken as a credit card imprint, cash or NZ$ travellers cheques. Full refunds will be given for cash and travellers cheque bonds, and credit card imprints will not be debited provided the vehicle is not involved in an accident and is returned in a reasonably clean condition.

Windscreens are not covered by Standard Insurance and the hirer is liable for the cost. Windscreens are covered under the Bond Reduction Insurance.

General Conditions
The Company reserve the right to make deductions over and above the bond for any of, or multiples of the following:

Missing or damaged equipment. The vehicle is not returned in a clean condition.

Hired vehicle operated outside the terms on the rental agreement have no insurance cover and the hirer is liable for the entire cost of damage.

Deposit
A deposit of 20% of the total hire cost is payable to secure a booking. This is calculated on 20% of the daily hire tarrif times the number of days of the hire. The full balance is required 30 days before the commencement of the hire.

The bond, optional insurances waivers and any additional equipment must be paid at the Depot at the commencement of the hire
