Tui Trail Seeker 2 Berth Deluxe - Terms & Conditions

Rates/Minimum Hire Periods:
* Rates are per day in NZ$ and include unlimited kilometres & GST (New Zealand Government Tax)
* The minimum hire period is seven days

Drivers/Licences
All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a full and current New Zealand driver's licence, or an International Driving Licence, or a licence recognised by New Zealand from the country of origin (with certified English translation where applicable).

Depot/Pickup Points:
Depots: Auckland, Christchurch
Minimum hire period for one way travel is 14 days.

TRANSFERS
Auckland: Tui Campers use taxis or shuttles for transfers on vehicle pick up and is complimentary.

Christchurch (Head Office): Tui offers a complimentary transfer service from Christchurch Airport and surrounding hotels & motels.

Insurance
STANDARD INSURANCE:
There is a compulsory insurance charge of NZ$15 per day which is in addition to the daily hire tariff. The hirer is liable for the first NZ$2500 of any damage caused in any one accident (NZ$3500 for drivers 21 - 25 years). A bond must be paid at the commencement of the hire is to cover this (see below).

Bond Waiver Insurance
You can choose to pay a non-refundable bond waiver of NZ$20/Day. This reduces the excess/deductible to nil and is on a per incident basis. Bond waiver does not cover any damages arising from misjudgment of dimensions or articles, appliances and fixtures inside the Motorhome unless in the case of Motor accident. Bond waiver is available for drivers under 25 Years of age at a cost of $32/day

Bond
All hirers with Standard Insurance must pay a bond of NZ$2500 (NZ$3500 for drivers under 25 years). This bond must be paid at the commencement of hire. This bond is fully refundable if the vehicle has not been involved in an accident and is returned in a reasonably clean and undamaged condition. A signed credit card imprint will be taken to cover the bond which will be returned at the end of the hire subject to the provisions below.

It is recommended that hirers take out their own travel insurance to cover personal injury, medical costs and personal prpoperty.

General Conditions
The Company reserve the right to make deductions over and above the bond for any of, or multiples of the following:

Missing or damaged equipment. The vehicle is not returned in a clean condition.
It is regretted the Company is unable to make any refunds for vehicle returns before the due date or unused rental days.

Important
Hired vehicle operated outside the terms on the rental agreement have no insurance cover and the hirer is liable for the entire cost of damage.

Deposit
A deposit of 20% of the total hire cost is payable to secure a booking. This is calculated on 20% of the daily hire tarrif times the number of days of the hire. The remaining 80%, plus compulsory daily insurance is required 30 days before the commencement of the hire.

The bond, optional insurance waiver and any additional equipment must be paid at the Depot at the commencement of the hire.
