Rates/Minimum Hire Periods:
* Rates are per day in NZ$ and include unlimited kilometres and GST (New Zealand Government Tax)
* The minimum hire period is 7 days

Drivers/Licences
All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a full and current New Zealand driver's licence, or an International Driving Licence, or a licence recognised by New Zealand from the country of origin (with English translation where applicable).

Insurance
STANDARD INSURANCE with an excess of NZ $1500 for drivers over 25 years (NZ$2000 for drivers of 21 to 24 years, GST Included). Included.

Tyre & Windscreen insurance NZ$6.00/per day extra is offered with this option.

Security Bond and Insurance Excess
A security bond equal to the insurance excess amount must be paid on commencement of hire. A credit card imprint of the bond is sufficient.
This amount varies according to the age of the driver.
for drivers over 25 years of age: NZ$1500
for drivers between 21 and 25 years: NZ$2000
This bond is fully refundable if the vehicle has not been involved in an accident and is returned in a reasonably clean and undamaged condition.

Excess Reduction
INSURANCE OPTION 1 (FULL COVER / LIABILITY DAMAGE WAIVER): $36.00 per day will reduce the excess for any vehicle to $250.00 ($500 for drivers 21 to 24 years). This option includes standard insurance, windscreen/tyre cover and underneath and overhead vehicle body damage without surcharge. Maximum charge of $1800 per hire.

General Conditions
The Company reserve the right to make deductions over and above the bond for any of, or multiples of the following:
The vehicle is not returned to the agreed location at the agreed time
Damage is incurred to the vehicle or any 3rd party property
Waste water tank and toilet have not been emptied
Items belonging to Wendekreisen Travel have been lost or damaged
Any traffic fines have not been paid
The vehicle is not returned in a reasonably clean condition

There will be no refund for vehicle returns before the due date, or unused rental days.
In the event of mechanical failure or major accident rendering the vehicle unserviceable and no alternative vehicle is available, liability will be to only refund those actual lost rental days.

Hired vehicle operated outside the terms on the rental agreement have no insurance cover and the hirer is liable for the entire cost of damage.

Deposit
A deposit of 20% of the total hire cost is payable to secure a booking. This is calculated on 20% of the daily hire tarrif times the number of days of the hire. The full balance is required 30 days before the commencement of the hire.

The bond, optional insurances waivers and any additional equipment must be paid at the Depot at the commencement of the hire
