STANDARD RATE Standard rate leaves you still to pay a Bond/Excess of NZ$2700 (Debited and refunded if no claims) or options as below can be taken to reduce bond/excess. (Options are payable at the depot except All Inclusive which should be booked when reserving the vehicle)
Insurance option with Standard Rate:
Excess Reduction 1: NZ$16 per day reduces bond to NZ$1200 (Debited and refunded if no claims - (Max Charge NZ$560)
Excess Reduction 2: NZ$26 per day reduces bond to Nil - A security deposit of $250.00 (Credit card imprint only) is taken at vehicle pick up time.(Max Charge NZ$910)

All Inclusive Package is available to travellers for NZ$50 per day premium and reduces bond to Nil. The Inclusive Rate includes: 3% Vehicle Admin Recovery Fee on total hire cost - Unlimited Kilometres, Diesel Tax Recovery Fee, 12.5% GST, Complimentary Airport Transfers, Personal Kits, Kitchen Kit, Apollo Welcome Pack, Pre-Hire Cleaning Fees, 24hr Roadside Assistance, Extra Driver Fees, Maps and Camp Ground Guides, LP Gas Refill Fee, Snow Chains (on request), Camp Chairs and Table and Baby or Booster Seats (on request).

Linen and Bedding
Personal kit kit needs to be reserved at time of booking - Personel kit - duvets, sleeping bags, sheets, pillows, pillow cases, bath towels, tea towels (NZ$35 Per person per hire)

One Way Fees
A one way fee rental fee of $250 is charged for rentals between the North and South Islands and vice versa, where pick up is between 1 November 31 March

Each vehicle is supplied with a complimentary Apollo Pack for the first night. The pack contains, matches, mini shampoo and conditioner, dishwashing liquid, sponge, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea and sugar satchels.
First Aid Kits
A First Aid kit is supplied in every vehicle. If the seal is broken or the Kit is not returned the Kit becomes the property of the renter and a $50 fee is charged when the vehicle is returned.

Branches are open seven days a week, 8am to 4:30pm. Branches will be closed Christmas Day, New Years Day and Good Friday
COURTESY TRANSFERS
For transfers to and from the Airport Apollo operate a courtesy shuttle. Full details will be on your motorhome confirmation.
MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD
The minimum hire period is 7 days
DRIVERS LICENSES
All drivers must be at least 21 years old (Max 75) and hold a full and current New Zealand driver's licence, or an International Driving Licence, or a licence from the country of origin with English translation.
BOOKING AMENDMENTS WITH FLEX RATES
A NZ$25 fee will apply to amend a flex booking. If a change to a flex booking is made then the booking will be calculated by using either the original flex rate or the flex rate that is valid at the time of the booking change, depending on whichever rate is higher. There are no exceptions to this rule. The following situations are classified as booking alterations: Change of date for vehicle pick-up or drop-off, Change of location (depot) for vehicle pick-up or drop-off, Change of vehicle category, Customer name change. If you decide to extend your rental duration (changing the drop-off date) by 2 days the same flex rate is used that applied on the day when you made your original booking. If you extend by 3 days or more, the booking change rule applies as outlined above. If an amendment is made to the rental dates within 14 days of collection, no refund will be made if the length of hire is shortened (that is; the rental will be charged at the number of days originally booked). A relocation fee may apply if the collection or return location is amended within 14 days of vehicle pick up or if notification occurs during the hire. Apollo will not accept any cancellations of Standard Rate Bookings that are then re-booked using Flex Rates and vice versa
