INSURANCE OPTIONS
STANDARD RATE (minimum level of insurance and already included in the quoted rate). Standard rate leaves you still to pay a Bond/Excess of NZ$5000 (Imprint) or options as below can be taken to reduce bond/excess. (Options are payable at the depot except All Inclusive which should be booked when reserving the vehicle).

Insurance option with Standard Rate:
Excess Reduction 1: NZ$20 per day reduces bond to NZ$1200 (Credit Card imprint only)
Excess Reduction 2: NZ$32 per day reduces bond to Nil - A security deposit of $150.00 is payable at the time of pickup to ensure that the vehicle is returned to the agreed location, on the agreed date in clean condition and is then fully Refunded.

ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE - FULL INSURANCE
All Inclusive Package is available to travellers for NZ$32 per day premium and reduces bond to Nil with waiver of the excess on any vehicle and third party property damage and multiple windscreens replacements, Picnic table and chairs (one chair for each person travelling), Baby seat and/or child booster seat (if applicable), Multiple windscreen replacement, Free Kiwi Camps VIP Membership Card. A security deposit of $150.00 is payable at the time of pickup to ensure that the vehicle is returned to the agreed location, on the agreed date in clean condition and is then fully Refunded.

MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD
The minimum hire period is 7 days, except for one way hires (as below) and for pickups between 20 December and 2 January annually.

ONE WAY HIRES
For one way hires between Christchurch and Auckland or vice versa the minimum hire period is fourteen (14) days at all times.

DRIVERS LICENSES
All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a full and current New Zealand driver's licence, or an International Driving Licence, or a licence from the country of origin with English translation.
