THE MOTORHOME
This 2004 or newer model's comfortable layout and easy driving make it a very popular campervan in New Zealand. It offers a small shower and porta potti cassette toilet. The features also include a gas stove, sink and hot & cold running water. A power saving 12 Volt fridge, dual battery system and self containment certificate gives you the freedom and independence to camp up to 48 hours off the beaten track.

INSURANCE OPTIONS
STANDARD RATE Standard rate leaves you still to pay a Bond/Excess of NZ $1500 for drivers over 25 years (NZ$2000 for drivers of 21 to 24 years) (credit card imprint). Note NZ$16 per day compulsory insurance charge applies which will be added to the quote on reservations page. Options as below can be taken to reduce bond/excess. (Options are payable at the depot).
Insurance options: All Inclusive:
NZ$36 per day will reduce the excess to:
for drivers over 25 years: NZ$250
for drivers between 21 and 25 years: NZ$500 (Credit Card imprint only)
Windscreen and tyre cover: $6.00/per day with NIL excess. Maximum
charge of $300 per hire

ONE WAY HIRES
For one way hires between Christchurch and Auckland or vice versa there is no extra charge. For hires picking up or dropping off in Picton there is a NZ$400 surcharge. If both picking up and dropping off in Picton, a NZ$800 fee applies
MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD
The minimum hire period is 7 days
DRIVERS LICENSES
All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a full and current New Zealand driver's licence, or an International Driving Licence, or a licence from the country of origin with English translation.
